About the role
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer who can take ownership of features end-to-end — from database design and API architecture through to responsive, polished front-end interfaces. You will work across a range of client products and internal platforms, primarily in the finance and healthcare domains, where reliability and attention to detail are non-negotiable.
What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain full-stack features across web applications using modern frameworks
- Work closely with the product and engineering team to translate requirements into well-structured, testable code
- Build and integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs with appropriate error handling, validation, and documentation
- Contribute to database design, query optimisation, and data modelling across relational and NoSQL systems
- Participate in code reviews, maintain code quality standards, and help establish engineering best practices
- Collaborate on cloud deployments and CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable, automated delivery
- Communicate technical decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
What we are looking for
- 3+ years of experience in full-stack web development
- Strong proficiency in React or Next.js on the front end
- Solid back-end experience in Node.js, Python, or Laravel/PHP
- Comfortable working with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
- Understanding of REST API design principles and integration patterns
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows and collaborative development practices
- Ability to work independently, manage your own time, and deliver to agreed timelines
Nice to have
- Experience working with AWS services (Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudFront)
- Exposure to TypeScript in production codebases
- Experience in regulated industries such as finance or healthcare
- Familiarity with Docker and containerised deployments
- Interest in AI integration and working with LLM APIs or open-source models
