About the role
We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to help design, build, and operate the infrastructure that powers our clients' platforms and our own AI products. You will work on cloud-native architectures primarily on AWS, with a focus on reliability, security, cost efficiency, and production-readiness. This is a role for someone who takes infrastructure seriously and understands that good operations are as important as good code.
What you will do
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable, automated software delivery
- Set up observability stacks — logging, metrics, alerting — that give teams actionable visibility into production systems
- Lead cloud migration planning and execution for client workloads moving from on-premise or legacy environments
- Implement security best practices including IAM policies, network segmentation, encryption, and audit logging
- Optimise infrastructure costs through right-sizing, reserved capacity planning, and architectural improvements
- Write infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent tooling
- Support engineering teams with deployment troubleshooting and production incident response
What we are looking for
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS in a production environment
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or AWS CDK
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: VPCs, subnets, load balancers, DNS, and security groups
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, or similar)
- Working knowledge of containerisation with Docker and orchestration with ECS or Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and compliance-aware infrastructure design
- Comfortable with Linux systems administration and shell scripting
Nice to have
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or equivalent)
- Experience supporting workloads in regulated industries (finance, healthcare)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Grafana, or CloudWatch
- Experience with GPU infrastructure or running ML workloads in the cloud
- Knowledge of cost management and FinOps practices on AWS
